In the town of Kelsterbach, the expansion of the fibre-optic network by Deutsche Giganetz GmbH is in full swing; teams from BICON AG, the company contracted for the civil engineering works, are working simultaneously at several locations across the town area to bring fibre optics into homes.

This week the time had finally come; the first customers were able to rejoice as their newly laid fibre optic connection was activated
and was thus actively connected to the grid. Mayor Manfred Ockel,
Gigabit Manager Andreas Graaf-von der Ahe, BICON AG site manager Baran Cem Güner and other employees of both companies congratulated Kerstin
Rathmann and Thorsten Arend, whose houses in Kirschenallee are now fully connected to high-speed internet.
